Daniel Buff

As Finance Manager for Tully Rinckey, Dan oversees the firm’s Finance Department and is responsible for the management and direction of its day-to-day operations. Working closely with the firm’s executive leadership, Dan provides analysis, reporting, and strategic insight to support business planning and organizational decision-making. He also leads the firm’s finance team and works to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the department’s financial processes and reporting.

Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Dan spent nearly seven years with Goldman Sachs. His experience included financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, tax-related analysis, and the preparation and presentation of financial reports for clients and senior stakeholders. He regularly collaborated with attorneys, tax professionals, and other subject matter experts to analyze complex financial matters and translate detailed information into actionable recommendations.

During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Dan earned his Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 qualifications. During this time, he also earned an MBA in Finance from Siena University.
