Joseph “JJ” Castrianni is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Tully Rinckey, leading the charge in recruiting and integrating partners, associates, and law clerks. Collaborating closely with a team of seasoned attorneys and firm leaders, JJ enhances the recruitment and integration experience for candidates and new team members. He works in close alignment with firm leadership to identify attorney hiring needs and skillfully executes the firm’s long-term strategic recruitment plan.
Drawing from his extensive background as an agency recruiter, JJ brings invaluable expertise in partnering with a diverse range of law firms, including Am Law 100, nationally recognized boutiques, and midsize firms across the nation. His proficiency lies in developing tailored recruiting strategies and innovative candidate-sourcing avenues, catering to legal professionals at all levels of experience—from recent graduates to seasoned partners. JJ works collaboratively across departments and practice groups within the firm, prioritizing seamless integration of all new hires while emphasizing their development, retention, and promotion. Prior to transitioning into recruiting, JJ practiced law as a litigator in New York City and remains an active member of the New York Bar.
JJ earned his Juris Doctorate from Touro College Law Center, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. Prior to that, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.
